Fifth Ventricle was born from a simple observation: while medical technology advanced rapidly in imaging and laboratory diagnostics, the humble stethoscope— one of medicine's most essential tools—remained largely unchanged for over 200 years.
Our founders, a team of cardiologists and biomedical engineers, recognized that the stethoscope's potential was being limited by its analog nature. Heart murmurs went undetected. Remote consultations lacked acoustic precision. Medical students struggled without real-time feedback.
